Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Our customer focussed, mortgage and savings provider client are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their Commercial Finance team. In this role, you will provide commercial support to the organisation and oversee the monthly production of financial MI.
The role is Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5.00 pm and they can offer a hybrid approach to the working week.
Duties of the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will include:
- Partner with the product team on the pricing and profitability of products and advise the product committee on the profitability of the overall portfolio.
- Preparation of the organisations Budget, Corporate plan and quarterly forecasts.
- Oversee the production of the Monthly Finance Board & MALCO (Management Asset and Liability Committee) packs
- Oversee the production of interest rate risk GAP estimates on a weekly / monthly basis
- Oversee the updating of the Basis risk scenarios for inclusion in the MALCO pack
- Providing forward looking stress testing for Management
- Assisting with the preparation of the organisations ICAAP, and Recovery Plan workings
- Work with the Assistant Management Accountant to update the ALMIS system on a monthly basis in order to generate accurate and timely MI
The successful candidate possess:
- Have an accountancy qualification i.e. CIMA/ACCA
- Previous experience of working in a commercial finance role
- Prior experience of preparing Balance Sheets and P&L Forecasts
- Experience of ALMIS system or another AML system is highly desirable
- Experience within financial services would be highly desirable
