Role: Senior Compliance Analyst
Location: Newbury (hybrid after probation)
Hours: 35 hours Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Starting Salary: £32,300
Target Salary : £34,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Compliance Analyst to join our team.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the activities of the Compliance function across its monitoring and advisory activities.
- Delivery of the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Conduct compliance reviews to assess regulatory adherence across business functions.
- Identify and work with first line management to interpret and determine the impact of regulatory change on the Society.
- Support the Society’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer (“MLRO”) and Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) in operating selected aspects of the Financial Crime and Data Protection control frameworks.

Essential skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience within a regulatory industry or environment
- Good understanding of the FCA Handbook and the PRA Rulebook.
- Good understanding of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation.
- Strong knowledge and application of Financial Crime related laws and regulations.
- Ability to undertake gap analyses, root cause analysis and define project scopes.
- Excellent skills when communicating and presenting what you need to, both verbally and in writing.
- Professional compliance specific qualification or an equivalent level qualification.
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Significant practical experience in working within second line Compliance functions.

90-minute competency-based interview held in our Newbury Head office.
We aim to interview successful applicants within 10 Days.
