Telephone Business Development Manager

Cumbria/Hybrid

Up to £40k per annum

 

Are you an experienced, mortgage professional looking for a new and exciting opportunity, with a customer centric mortgage and savings provider?

 

Our client is seeking a Telephone Business Development Manager, to develop mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing mortgage intermediaries. You will be part of a relatively small team, working with other areas of mortgage team.

 

The role will be the first point of contact for any intermediary enquires, offering a prompt and first class experience.

 

They are based in Cumbria, however, can offer a hybrid approach to the working week, with 2 – 3 days based at their head office, and the remainder working remotely.

 

Duties of the Telephone Business Development Manager will include:

  • Triage incoming enquiries, providing factual information on their products and lending criteria and initial decision in principle on mortgage applications
  • Be pro-active in identifying new potential intermediary relationships and build on existing relationships
  • Provide first class customer service to Intermediaries
  • Build productive, effective and mutually beneficial relationships with peers, colleagues and key stakeholders across the business
  • Manage the onboarding and reactivation of intermediaries
  • Share insights gained from interactions with Intermediaries to enable the ongoing development of our products and proposition 
  • From time to time, be willing to represent the organisation at events and conferences

 

The successful individual will possess:

  • Recent and knowledgeable Mortgage experience
  • Prior experience within a business development/sales/advisory role in Mortgages
  • Ideally hold the CeMap qualification
